COSMOS 2018 will take place in the heart of Tuscany, in the Chianti area. We will have at our disposal an old country house on top of the Tuscan hills in the middle of the woods.
My life is made of …open spaces… walking barefoot…rain… grey mood and the smell of earth after a storm…day dreaming… getting lost…darkness…exploring…windy days…chocolate…books…Chagall paintings…spontaneity…music…nights in front of the fire…
I wish I was a poet…but I am just a photographer.
Photography it’s the only language I know, the way I see the world and all the small things that make every day so incredible.
I am drawn to the light, to its strength and its softness, to the front of it and the back of it, to its gentle caress and to its wild glory. My work is to seek it out – in my subjects and in my everyday – and to share it. To catch it revealing the life we live and the way we live in it, to chase it falling into the shadows and layering into the dark, inviting wonder as it moves. I photograph the flow of it everywhere, softness within structure, movement against form.
There is no perspective that is not changed by its path, no texture or color that remains the same when the light splays itself out over it. I have seen it weep, and I have seen it rejoice. I tell its story
Alessandra Santini (Fluida design)
Alessandra has a very special way of seeing things. She lives in her own world and has a vision that goes beyond. She is a unique floral and set designer, highly sought after for weddings, events, photo-shoots and film. She believes that flowers should be sourced with instinctual and responsive criteria, to obtain characterful creations – elegant, sophisticated and often a bit wild to follow the real nature of our landscapes. Finally, she respects every location’s soul, taking into account its unique character and historical relevance.
Polina Ceastuhina (Flothemes)

Born in 1962 in Spain, Cristina Nuñez started taking self-portraits in 1988 as a form of self-therapy, to overcome low self-esteem and a heroin addiction in her teenage. Up to the early 2000s, she produced photography books in which she addressed social questions through the portrait. On the margins of this public body of work, she continued taking self-portraits, which became Someone to Love; since 2005 this has been the focus of her work, as well as of The Self-Portrait Experience workshops that she has been conducting around the world. In 2013 she started her ongoing net-art project La Vie en Rose, on video, performance and web platform, with the real goal of finding her perfect partner. Nuñez considers herself a social activist, using her own life to stimulate the viewer to mirror himself in her work.
Nuñez is resident artist at Espai d’Arts, Roca Umbert Fàbrica de les Arts in Granollers, Spain.
